Westfield FFA Cup bonanza at VSP this weekend

Valentine Sports Park will be in Westfield FFA Cup ‘beast mode’ this weekend with as many as ten matches taking place at the ‘Home of Football NSW’, for Round 3 of the knockout competition.

With more rain forecast for the rest of the week spilling onto the weekend, Valentine Sports Park was the ideal facility to host all ten matches which will kick off at 10am on Saturday with games concluding on Sunday with the latest kick off scheduled for 7pm.

Football NSW’s Westfield FFA Cup Competition Coordinator Connor Ellis urged football lovers that this was an ideal opportunity to witness what magic the Cup could bestow with a number of fascinating encounters set to hit Glenwood.

“The beauty of the Cup will certainly be present this weekend as you will see association and State League Men clubs from across the state all converge at Glenwood in hoping to secure passage towards round four of the Westfield FFA Cup.

“With the inclement weather scheduled for this weekend especially, we couldn’t take our chances in losing out on further Cup matches, so we were fortunate that the facility was able to act accordingly in confirming these matches to be played on our synthetic surfaces.”
