Westfield FFA Cup squads

In what promises to be another enthralling night of Cup action with two Member Federation clubs hosting Hyundai A-League opposition, one all Hyundai A-League affair and an intriguing encounter between Queensland’s Palm Beach Sharks and the Cup’s Cinderella story South Springvale, the matches will be followed straight after by the Quarter Final Draw from FOX SPORTS studios in Sydney.

The remaining four Round of 16 matches are headlined by the massive Sydney Derby between Sydney United 58 FC and Sydney FC at the Sydney United Sports Centre as the coaches of the respective sides, Mark Rudan and Graham Arnold, both attempt to plot the downfall of clubs they previously represented with esteem.

Victorian club St Albans Saints will be hoping to put the drama of the sacking of their coach and one of their midfielders behind them when they welcome Perth Glory to Knights Stadium. The Saints reached the Round of 16 after ousting Parramatta FC 1-0, their opponents tomorrow night having scored a 2-0 win over the Newcastle Jets courtesy of a brace from new signing Andy Keogh on the same night.

Another enticing clash sees Adelaide United host reigning Hyundai A-League champions Brisbane Roar at Coopers Stadium, both signs showing encouraging form in the pre season and eager to stay alive in the Westfield FFA Cup. The Reds were 1-0 winners over Wellington Phoenix in the Round of 32, while the Roar dismantled Western Australia club Stirling Lions 4-0 in Perth.

Finally, South Springvale has made the trip up to the Gold Coast to face National Premier Leagues Queensland’s standout club in 2014, Palm Beach Sharks, at Cbus Super Stadium.

The Sharks won the Premiership/Championship double and accounted for Hakoah Sydney City in the Round of 32, but fourth tier Victorian club South Springvale will be out to continue their remarkable Cup run and create more headlines.

All matches will kick-off at 7:30pm AEST (7:00pm ACST, 5:30pm AWST) with the Quarter Final draw to follow once all the results have been decided.

FOX SPORTS 3 and 3HD will broadcast the Sydney Derby in full and have updates and crosses to the other three matches, as well as the show the Quarter Final draw. The draw will also be streamed online at www.theffacup.com.au
