Reds unveil new home strip ahead of FFA Cup 2019 Quarter Final

Adelaide United are the latest Hyundai A-League club to launch their new home jersey ahead of the 2019/20 Season, which they will wear for the first time in next week's FFA Cup 2019 Quarter Final.

In a modern twist on the club’s predominantly red strip, there is also splashes of the South Australian state colours of navy and yellow also.

The kit, which was manufactured by the the two-time FFA Cup winners' on-field partner Macron, also features an embossed horizontal diamond pattern on the front of the shirt.

A crew neck replaces a collar which is accentuated by navy and yellow trimming, as too are the outline of the sleeves, complementing the overall design.

“The piping shrike, synonymous with South Australia, is positioned at the top of the neck as does the club’s foundation year 2003,” the club said in a statement.

“Mesh inserts under the arms further enhance breathability and comfort enabling players to perform to their optimal.”

The shorts of the new strip are also predominantly red with blue trimming, while the socks are also red with thin, vertical yellow and blue stripes.
