The Westfield FFA Cup 2016 Semi Finals will feature a Melbourne Derby and a mouth-watering Cup tie in the nation’s capital after the draw was conducted on FOX SPORTS following tonight’s Quarter Finals.
Reigning Westfield FFA Cup holders Melbourne Victory will reignite their fierce crosstown rivalry with Melbourne City FC, while Canberra Olympic will host Graham Arnold’s star studded Sydney FC in the other Semi Final.
Melbourne Victory booked their spot in the last four earlier tonight as they accounted for Bentleigh Greens 3-0, and Canberra Olympic became the solitary Member Federation club remaining in the competition courtesy of a dramatic last gasp 1-0 win over Green Gully.
The Westfield FFA Cup 2016 Semi Finals will comprise two match nights with one match per night on either of the following dates – 18/19/25/26 October 2016.
Both Semi Finals will be LIVE and exclusive on FOX SPORTS.
