Confirmed: Round 7 draw complete in NSW

The five representatives in the Round of 32 from Football NSW will be decided next week, with the draw for the final preliminary round conducted on Friday.

The fairytale story of the preliminary rounds - Football South Coast’s Tarrawanna Blueys – have been handed a home tie against NPL outfit Hakoah Sydney City East.

The Blueys started their FFA Cup journey back in March and have come through four sudden-death clashes to sit within 90 minutes of the national stage.

And what a story it would be should the Blueys advance, with the club to become the first association club to reach the Round of 32 if they can overcome Gavin Rae’s troops.

Elsewhere, it’s a top of the NPL NSW Men’s table clash between Sydney Olympic and APIA Leichhardt.

The other all NPL encounter sees Rockdale City Suns entertain last year’s quarter-finalists Blacktown City.

Blacktown has never missed a spot in the Round of 32 and will fancy their chances of making it for a fifth straight year.

The other two matches see Hills United host Bonnyrigg White Eagles, while NPL 2 side GHFA Spirit FC will hope that they can spring an upset by shocking NPL side Marconi Stallions in Sydney’s South West.

All matches will be played on Wednesday night, May 30.
