Craig Foster to play for Albion Park City FC in the FFA Cup

Albion Park City Football Club did not have a Twitter account until just a few days ago, however, they managed to launch their new profile in stunning fashion.

APCFC, with their first ever post on the popular social media platform, announced the breaking news that former Socceroo, Craig Foster, would play for them in the FFA Cup.

The Round 3 clash against Coniston FC takes place on Wednesday 20 March at JJ Kelly Park in Wollongong.

Foster, 49, played for the Socceroos between 1996 and 2000, making 29 appearances for the national team.

His 16-year playing career saw him play for clubs such as Portsmouth and Crystal Palace, before finishing up at Northern Spirit in the NSL.
