Exciting ties make up 2021 FFA Cup Southern Zone preliminary round five draw

The Southern Zone preliminary round five draw for the 2021 FFA Cup has thrown up some exciting ties.

Northern NSW Football conducted its preliminary round five draw on Friday afternoon with the draw broadcast live on social media.

Twelve clubs representing Community, HIT Northern League One and NPL NNSW football were involved in the draw, with all 10 NPL clubs still in the competition.

The two lower tier clubs drew NPL opposition, with HIT Northern League One club Belmont Swansea United to travel to Adamstown Oval to take on Adamstown Rosebud.

While Zone Premier League club Dudley Redhead United will welcome NPL opposition to Lydon Oval when they host Weston Workers FC.

Elsewhere, Charlestown Azzurri will host Lambton Jaffas, Maitland FC take on Newcastle Olympic, Broadmeadow Magic face Edgeworth FC and Valentine FC clash with Lake Macquarie City.

Matches will be played midweek during the week commencing 24 May.
