Melbourne City winger Craig Noone has been a revelation in this competition since joining the club, scoring in every round so far in 2019.

But none of his strikes were better than the match-sealer in the 3-0 win over Western Sydney Wanderers earlier this month.

Racing on to Joshua Brillante’s astonishing ball over the top of the defence, Noone was first to the ball, cut inside onto his right foot and curled an exquisite shot in off the far post.

The Englishman’s classy curler was a standout winner, amassing 50% of the overall vote.

The was enough to beat City teammate Jamie Maclaren from the same game, as well as Moreland Zebras’ Jakob Williams.

Noone’s goal will now go through to the final round of voting, where they join the two nominations from the Round of 16, the three efforts from the Round of 32 and the two most voted Preliminary Round goals.

There will be 10 goals in total for the final round of voting, with the best goal from the Semi-Finals, and the Final also entering.
