Fresh FFA Cup kits for Round of 32 foes

Adelaide United and Central Coast Mariners will both sport fresh looks in Wednesday's clash at Marden Sports Complex after revealing special new kits for their FFA Cup campaigns.

The Hyundai A-League pair will go head-to-head in the Round of 32 as they aim to start the season on a confident note.

Adelaide, champions in 2014, are looking to go one better than the extra-time heartbreak they suffered at the hands of Sydney FC in last year's final.

The Reds have released custom home and away kits for this season's edition, with a hooped home shirt in the club's traditional red inspired by their 2003 design.

Should they advance beyond the Round of 32 and be made to travel, a two-tone grey jersey will get its debut.

Central Coast are also set to don a grey top for each of their FFA Cup outings.

The Mariners shared their effort on social media earlier on Friday and will hope it brings them better luck than the quick exits they've made in each of the past three seasons.

The shirt has been emblazoned with the MasterFoods logo after the club renewed its partnership with Mars Food Australia for the upcoming campaign.

One of four matches to be held this coming Wednesday, the teams are scheduled to kick-off in Adelaide at 7:00pm local (7:30pm AEST).
