Finally, five months after qualifying for the FFA Cup 2021 Final Rounds, Adelaide City will step onto the pitch this Wednesday to face Melbourne Victory in the Round of 21.
Having qualified for the national stage with a 2-0 win over MetroStars, City were drawn against the winner of the Play Off between Perth Glory & Melbourne Victory, which was originally scheduled for July.
But with COVID-19 lockdowns and border closures, the Play Offs & Round of 32 were pushed back to later in the year. And, after a long few months, their opponents were realised last week when Victory defeated Glory in a penalty shootout in the Play Off.
Now, this Wednesday 1 December, Adelaide City will welcome Victory to Marden Sports Complex in Adelaide to battle for a spot in the last 16.
