Huge interest grows in NSW as FFA Cup Rounds 2 and 3 drawn

Football NSW has officially announced its 2020 FFA Cup Round’s 2 and 3 draw which will see a massive 121 grassroots clubs enter the fold.

In an official draw conducted at Football NSW Headquarters and hosted by Tony Tannous, Football NSW CEO Stuart Hodge alongside Football NSW’s Head of Legal Counsel Lorenzo Crepaldi drew out each club’s fate that also included clubs from the NPL 3 and 4 NSW Men’s competition.

After the completion of Round 3, Football NSW will commence the draw for Round 4 which will be set for the week starting on Monday 30th March.

Football NSW are currently putting together the venues, dates and times for the first lot of matches so stay tuned with further announcements on our social media channels via Facebook and Twitter.

Football NSW’s Competitions and FFA Cup Coordinator Wade Giovenali was delighted with the buzz that surrounded the early FFA Cup draws.

“It was pleasing to see so many Association clubs from all around NSW register in what is Australia’s premier knockout Cup tournament.

“With so many exciting ties set to happen in round 2, we cannot wait to see these teams progress into the latter stages of the tournament.

“The magic of the cup certainly fits the theme in this year’s 2020 draw that just took place.

“Good luck to all participating teams in the Cup.”
