Match ups decided for Northern NSW penultimate round

A heavyweight Cup tie between last year's two Northern NSW Round of 32 entrants headlines the match ups in Round 6 of the Northern NSW Preliminary Rounds.

Lambton Jaffas and Edgeworth FC, who also currently occupy the top two spots on the PlayStation 4 NPL Northern NSW ladder, will lock horns in a Round 6 blockbuster after they were drawn against each other.

Northern NSW Football conducted the official draw for the remaining eight clubs left in contention on the rooftop at Westfield Kotara. The draw was conducted by Westfield Kotara Facility Manager Kate Griffith and NNSWF Senior Officer – Premier Club Development and Compliance, Gary Fisher.

Northern Pool representatives included Coffs City United (North Coast Football), Byron Bay FC (Football Far North Coast), while PlayStation® 4 NPL sides Broadmeadow Magic FC, Edgeworth Eagles FC, Lambton Jaffas FC, Maitland Magpies FC, Valentine Phoenix FC and Zone Football League Premier side, Cardiff City FC represented the Southern Pool.

The winners of the ‘Final Eight’ will progress to the ‘Final Four’, with the match ups to determine the the Round 7 fixtures to be drawn on Saturday 10 June.

The two winners of the Preliminary Rounds will qualify for the national Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32.
