Avondale FC have a chance to snare a handy payday in the FFA Cup Quarter Finals tonight thanks to NAB's Golden Goals initiative.
Member Federation clubs net a cool $2,500 for every goal they score against their respective Hyundai A-League opponents, with the Avengers in the hunt against defending FFA Cup champions Sydney FC this evening and APIA Leichhardt facing off against Adelaide United next week.
NAB's generosity has led to the distribution of no less than $27,500 in 2018, with this being Avondale's first opportunity to get in on the act.
