Who will meet Perth Glory in the Westfield FFA Cup 2015 Final? Wherever you are, here’s how to make sure you don’t miss a minute of the second Semi Final between Hume City and Melbourne Victory.
Hume City will attempt to cause one of the great Westfield FFA Cup upsets when they take on Hyundai A-League Champions and Premiers Melbourne Victory in the second Semi Final tomorrow night (Wednesday 28 October 2015) at AAMI Park (kick-off 7.30pm AEDT).
The sole remaining Member Federation club in this year’s competition faces the momentous task of toppling the Hyundai A-League giants as the two teams vie for a spot in the Westfield FFA Cup 2015 Final against Perth Glory on 7 November.
The match will be LIVE and exclusive on FOX SPORTS 505 with coverage from 7pm AEDT.
Hume City’s fairytale run began in the Westfield FFA Cup Preliminary Rounds back in March. Once they qualified for the Round of 32, the PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria club’s Cup path saw them defeat former NSL clubs Brisbane Strikers and Sydney Olympic, and then fellow Victorians Oakleigh Cannons to reach the last four.
In last year’s Semi Final featuring the Member Federation club, Bentleigh Greens were competitive but ultimately outclassed by Perth Glory. This year, Hume City Head Coach Lou Acevski will be hoping he can mastermind a stunning upset. Cup competitions around the world have proven that a minnow prevailing is not beyond the realm of possibility.
