Round 3 of the FFA Cup for the South East Queensland region came to an end last night, with 25 games played in the last week to determine which teams would progress to the fourth round.
Gold Coast’s Palm Beach SC came out victorious in the coast v coast clash, defeating Caloundra FC 3-1.

Both coasts impressed in Round 3, with Coomera, Southport Warriors, Robina City, Surfers Paradise Apollo and Burleigh Heads all recording wins against Brisbane-based teams.
Sunshine Coast teams also dominated this round, with almost all teams securing wins to go through to Round 4 of the FFA Cup.
Gympie United FC defeated Westside Grovely FC in their first FFA Cup game, while Maroochydore Swans put an incredible 11 goals past North Lakes Mustangs, and Noosa Lions FC scored six goals to defeat Ridge Hills United 6-1 in just a few of Sunshine Coast’s wins.
lsewhere, the Bardon Latrobe and Bethania Rams FC clash went down to the wire, with Bethania securing the victory in penalties (5-3) after a 3-3 draw to book their spot in the fourth round, while UQFC secured a 3-1 win over Annerley FC last night to wrap up the round.
