NO AWAY DAY FOR UNITED

"To be honest the boys are a little bit upset they don't have an away trip," said head coach Tomi Vidovic.

"They were looking forward to Gold Coast or maybe Melbourne away but we'll enjoy it," he told Fox Sports.

TIME TO STEP UP

After seeing off Far North Queensland Heat 7-2 in the round-of-32, Vidovic knows Heidelberg - who beat Perth Glory to advance - will be a major step up.

"They're obviously a very strong side to knock out an A-League side," he said.

"They're also first in the VPL so it's going to be difficult.

"It's an old NSL derby as well so hopefully the fans come out.

"We're looking forward to it.

HOME COMFORTS

And while his players would have liked the chance to travel, he is more than happy with the home draw.

"In the last two years we've only lost one game at home," he said.

"We're very comfortable here - it allows us to play our football.

"We're current NPL champions so we can definitely beat any NPL opposition and that sets us up for a quarter-final which is very exciting," Vidovic said.
