Late goals, cup tie drama and action aplenty highlighted MD 1 in the 2017 Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32 played on Wednesday night July 26.
Here's a wrap of last night's results.
LUJIC LEAVES IT LATE
There was late drama at Lakeside Stadium in Melbourne with striker Milos Lujic scoring an injury-time winner for South Melbourne against a brave Edgeworth FC outfit.
With the tie goalless in the fourth minute of added time, Lujic rose to head home the game's decisive goal from a right-wing corner, sending the 2622-strong crowd into raptures.
HAKOAH'S SUPER SUBS SEAL THE DEAL
It was a record-breaking night at Lily's Football Stadium, where Hakoah Sydney City East came from behind three times to eventually succumb lower-ranked Hills United 6-3.
Captain Neil Jablonski netted twice, including an 89th minute strike to send the game into extra-time.
Substitutes Gideon Sweet, Alek Lekoski and Lee Jones each scored in the added 30 minutes to give Hakoah a 6-3 victory.
The nine goals were the most ever scored in an FFA Cup match.
SORRENTO SERVE UP CAPITAL PUNISHMENT
On a wet night in Perth, Sorrento FC scored early before withstanding immense pressure to narrowly defeat 2016 semi-finalists Canberra Olympic 1-0.
Sean Canham's seventh minute goal and some steadfast defending were enough to see Jamie Harnwell's side through to the last 16.
BERRIES TASTE SWEET VICTORY
At Jensen Park, the Bankstown Berries delighted their home faithful with a 2-1 win over MetroStars.
Jake Bradshaw opened the scoring for the NSW second-tier side with player-manager Periklis Moustakas adding a second just after the break.
Matthew Dawber's late goal wasn't enough for the visitors, with the Berries holding on for a famous win.
