PORT MELBOURNE SHARKS

APIA LEICHHARDT TIGERS

League-leaders in the NSW NPL, the Tigers face a tricky trip to WIN Stadium for a clash with the Wollongong Wolves on Saturday night. It’s a vital game for APIA, currently two points clear of Sydney Olympic at the top of the comp in NSW.

LIONS FC

The on-form team in Queensland, Lions FC will go back to the top of the ladder if they can beat SWQ Thunder at Clive Berghofer Stadium on Saturday.

BROADMEADOW MAGIC

The Magic are also on the road as they head to CB Complex for a battle with Valentine FC. Currently third, the Magic are hoping to keep pace with league-leaders Edgeworth Eagles who are four points ahead of them at the summit in Northern NSW.

AVONDALE FC

Like Port Melbourne, Avondale were in action on Friday night in Victoria and came away with a 2-1 win at Pascoe Vale to consolidate third spot on the NPL ladder. An Elvis Kamsoba goal in the opening minute and another striker from Joey Katebian was enough to give Avondale all three points.

A huge game for the Stallions in the NSW NPL on Sunday. Currently in sixth spot and two points outside the top five, Marconi travel to Ilenden Sports Centre to take on fifth-placed Rockdale City. A win would see the Stallions jump into the finals spots.
