Balga SC pull off massive FFA Cupset in WA

Balga SC pulled off one of the biggest wins in their history after knocking out National Premier League side Inglewood United from the FFA Cup.

Balga, who ply their trade in State League 2 in Western Australia, went into the clash on Easter Monday as massive underdogs.

But it was the side from the third-tier of football in WA who came out victorious, running out 3-1 winners and onto the next round of the competition.

There were plenty of games in an Easter Monday feast in WA, with some cracking contests around the state.

Gwelup Croatia, who made it to the Round of 32 in 2018, prevailed in a penalty shoot-out following a 2-2 draw with Armadale SC, who also made the national knockout stage last year.
