  • Broadmeadow Magic 5-1 Weston Bears FC
  • Broadmeadow Magic 5-1 Bangalow SC

Broadmeadow Magic calmly secured their round of 32 birth with a 3-0 win over Maitland FC, after dominating throughout their campaign.

Broadmeadow will be representing Northern New South Wales with fellow powerhouse Edgeworth Eagles for the third time.

Since the beginning of the Australia Cup in 2014, one of Broadmeadow Magic and Edgeworth Eagles has always been in the competition, but on the two occasions they have qualified together, neither side has passed the round of 32.

Broadmeadow will be looking to break that streak in what promises to be an intense, integral contest against surprise 2022 Grand Finalists Sydney United.

Last Five League Results: WLLWW

Broadmeadow Magic have picked up a third of their season victories in the last five games, with the side currently on a three-match winning run as they look to gain form for the Australia Cup.

Despite sitting midtable in the NPL Northern NSW Men’s competition, Broadmeadow has participated in some spellbinding matches and has scored the second-most goals in the league.

They’ll be looking to bring this attacking spirit and quality through to the Cup, as they look to create some magic against the formidable force of Sydney United.
