A 2-0 win over Edge Hill United was enough to secure the Queensland NPL leaders a spot in the finals after another two-goal victory over Brisbane City took them to the seventh round.
In their last appearance in the Australia Cup, the Knights showed their fighting spirit and quality, taking Melbourne Victory to extra time in the Round of 16, with a William Wilson 96th-minute goal taking the eventual winners through to the quarter-finals.
