Edgeworth Eagles and Broadmeadow Magic have punched their ticket to the Australia Cup Final Rounds with midweek wins over Newcastle Olympic and Maitland FC.
A three goal blitz saw Broadmeadow Magic defeat Maitland FC 3-0 on Wednesday to reach the Round of 32 for a Northern NSW Football record seventh time.
Away from home, Edgeworth Eagles came from a goal down to defeat Newcastle Olympic, bidding to reach the Round of 32 for a third straight year, 1-2 in extra time.
Both Edgeworth Eagles (2) and Broadmeadow Magic (1) are the only two sides to advance past the Round of 32 from the NNSWF region with the Eagles having completed the task on their previous two trips to the Final Rounds in 2016 and 2019.
