Fatigue no issue for Wanderers: Janjetovic

Just 72 hours after a pulsating Sydney derby, the Western Sydney Wanderers are back in action in the semi-finals of the Westfield FFA Cup on Tuesday night.

But goalkeeper Vedran Janjetovic has quickly shut down any talk of fatigue ahead of his side's clash with Adelaide United.

BRING ON THE NEXT ONE

“We had a positive result against Sydney, so we're looking forward to the next game,” Janjetovic said.

“The short turnaround is something that we're used to – we did it all pre-season, so we're ready.

“We're raring to go and looking forward to it,” he said.

WANDERERS’ SECOND HOME

Rather than the Wanderers’ Hyundai A-League home of Spotless Stadium, Campbelltown Stadium will instead play host to tonight's semi.

But Janjetovic says the surroundings are familiar to his side.

“We played a fair few games there last year as well, so it's right up our alley,” he declared.

“Hopefully the fans turn out and give us that extra little push that we need.

“Everyone's excited – you can feel it – and we're looking forward to a great game."
