Keilor Wolves knocked out of FFA Cup

The dream FFA Cup run of Victorian outfit Keilor Wolves SC has come to an end in Round 3.

The Victorian State League 5 West side were beaten 7-0 by State League 1 outfit North Sunshine Eagles on Friday night.

After a hard-fought opening stanza saw the scores remain 0-0 at half-time, the Eagles ran riot in the second half with Ryan Dragović grabbing a brace.

Kohei Meguro, Nicky Cullen, Shane Rexhep, Jeton Demiri and Aidin Sadiku all got their name on the scoresheet in a convincing victory.

The Wolves were involved in the first match of the 2018 FFA Cup competition, defeating Pakenham United 4-0 in February.

Keilor then defeated Mooney Valley Knights in their next match before causing a huge upset by knocking off State League 2 side Altona East Phoenix to book their spot in Round 3.
