Noosa Lions are within one match of the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32 after ousting United Warriors 3-0 at Giraween Sports Complex on Saturday night.
The Sunshine Coast side scored twice in the final half hour to seal a shot at Queensland's final qualifying spot.
Alex Barlow, Lions' leading scorer of the Preliminary Rounds, handed the hosts a perfect start when he opened the scoring in just the 12th minute.
Barlow netted in the community club's 3-2 win over Sunshine Coast FC in Qualifying Round 5 and his goal was the difference at the break.
United Warriors forward Jacob Lynch grabbed a brace in his side's defeat of local Hervey Bay rivals United Park Eagles last round but it was all Lions this time out.
Barlow made it 2-0 just after the hour and any chance of a late comeback was snuffed out when substitute Matt Needham secured victory with five minutes remaining.
Noosa Lions progress to play reigning PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland champions and Westfield FFA Cup Quarter-Finalists Palm Beach SC on 27 June to decide Queensland's final Round of 32 entrant.
