Thanks to some fancy footwork of local heroes in the 2015 Westfield FFA Cup, NAB have donated $10,000 to club football from the Golden Goals initiative.
During the 2015 Westfield FFA Cup, for any goal scored by a semi-professional or grassroots club against a Hyundai A-League team, NAB pledged to donate $2,500 to the goal-scorer’s club.
And with three clubs managing to net goals against A-League opposition, Edgeworth FC and Darwin Olympic won $2500 each for strikes against Melbourne City and Adelaide United respectively.
Rockdale City Suns earned $5000 after scoring twice in their thrilling 3-2 loss against Melbourne Victory in the Round of 16.
